In Remembrance: John C. Lintner, Director of Music Emeritus

In Memoriam

Georgetown Presbyterian Church mourns the death of Director of Music Emeritus John Carl Lintner. John served as our beloved church musician from 1980 - 2014. He died peacefully surrounded by family on April 17 at 3:25 p.m. at Casey House in hospice care after a courageous fight with cancer. Please keep John's family in your prayers.

Service Information

A private service for John's family will be held at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 7. On Sunday, May 8 at 3 p.m., a special service and memorial concert will be held at Spencerville Seventh Day Adventist Church, 16325 New Hampshire Ave., Spencerville, MD 20905, followed by a reception. Rev. Dr. Camille Cook Murray will participate. Notes and cards for John’s family may be mailed c/o GPC, 3115 P St., NW, Washington, DC 20007.
