Giving at GPC
Born. United. Sent. Because of you and people like you, The Georgetown Presbyterian Church is able to embark on a challenging year of discipleship and growth. This year we took some creative risks for the sake of the Gospel. We commissioned Pastor Chris as a full-time Associate for Mission and Young Adults. We hired a Children’s Ministry Director to work with our growing number of young families. We expanded our giving to over $72,000 for our mission partners in DC and across the world. We began renovations, expansions, and improvements to our library and classroom spaces.
The growth and creativity have arisen because the members of this church serve selflessly, give generously, and think creatively. Your gifts have made our ministry possible. Our reach has been growing because the faith and commitment of our members has been growing too. Praise be to God!
As an added incentive to pledge by December 16th, 2018 the first 100 pledgers will receive a free gift from the stewardship chair. Don’t miss out!
Thank you in anticipation for your gift for our 2019 campaign, the faith you share in God’s love for the world, and your commitment to Christ’s Church here in this place.
Pledge cards/envelopes have been mailed to all members and friends of GPC. If you did not receive one, please contact the church office at 202-338-1644.

A message from the Pastor
At Georgetown Presbyterian Church, we are proud of our history. Our strong history has been made possible by God's sustaining presence and by men and women who paved the way for us today. We do not take those blessings or those gifts for granted. We remember the stories, the service, the gifts, and the faith entrusted to this place over the years.
In celebrating our history, we acknowledge we have a part to play today and in the days to come. We will eventually pass the baton of this great congregation to those who follow after us. It is our hope that Georgetown Presbyterian Church will be a sanctuary for God's people for generations to come. In order to ensure this church carries on the legacy of God's work we carefully steward the gifts we are given. The gifts people leave the church after they have died are strong testimonies to their faith and their belief in the work of GPC. We thank you for considering being a legacy donor to this church.
