Georgetown Presbyterian Church welcomes adults in their 20s and 30s to participate in our Young Adult group. The mission of the group is to foster a diverse and welcoming community of young adults at Georgetown Presbyterian Church so that they may grow spiritually and be energized for God’s service. Our vision is that this group will facilitate fellowship and community among young adults in the church, supporting one another through similar stages in our faith and life journeys. We hope this group will be a bridge to broader involvement in the work and life of the church. Our focus is to provide regular service, study, and social opportunities for young adults at GPC and to encourage young adult participation in existing activities at the church.
Young adults in the church can sign up to receive an e-newsletter announcing upcoming events at the church–some of which are specifically for young adults (e.g. dinner and discussions), others that are for the entire congregation (e.g. New Member classes).
